Vi Agroforestry warmly welcomes you to
the Annual Agroforestry Symposium taking place from Thursday 19th
November to Saturday 21st November 2020 between 9:00am to 5:00pm
every day. The event will be hosted alongside our partners BUFADESO at the
Agricultural Training Centre in Bweri, Musoma Municipal Council. The event aims
to present information on the theme of Agroforestry for Food and Income
Security.
We invite
smallholder farmers and stakeholders from the agriculture sector, seed
companies, pesticide companies, financial sector, manufacturing companies,
university and tertiary institutions, textile companies, ministries and
parastatals, research bodies and health and insurance companies among others to
participate and showcase their products and services.
The
Symposium will offer many learning opportunities through speeches, exhibitions,
live demonstrations, networking, product stalls and learning sessions. We hope
that farmers and other participants will be empowered with this knowledge and
gain skills and contacts that will see them improve their livelihoods. Our
guest speaker the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr
Gerald Kusaya, will be there to share insight into the use of Agroforestry for
Food and Income Security.
This will
be an action packed 3 days, full of learning, competitions, and entertainment.Karibuni
