Please be reminded to use the Fund’s Online Notification System (ONS) for submission of all occupational accidents, diseases or deaths that may arise out of or in the course of employment of your employees.

To submit incident notifications kindly enrol in ONS by visiting  “portal.wcf.go.tz”  select “Occupational Incident Notification” then select “Register Here….” For further assistance, do not hesitate to contact Maulana Kitambazi 0735 352539.

Please be informed that the Fund will not receive manually submitted notifications.

 

Tafadhali kukumbuka kutumia mfumo wa (ONS) kuwasilisha katika Mfuko taarifa ya ajali, ugonjwa au kifo kinachotokana na kazi.  Kuwasilisha taarifa hiyo tafadhali jisajili kwenye mfumo (ONS) kwa kutembelea “portal.wcf.go.tz” na kuchagua neno “Occupational Incident Notification” kisha kuchagua neno “Register Here….”

Policy brief launch by Agroforestry Network: Agroforestry and youth – possibilities and barriers

Youth are in a transitional phase between being a child and becoming an adult – a transition that in itself can be a challenge. Young farmers living in rural areas today face additional challenges, such as mounting unemployment combined with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, increasing food insecurity and aggravating impacts of climate change. Agroforestry – a farming technique that combines cultivating crops, pasture and trees – can address some of these challenges and also contribute to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). During this lunch webinar, Agroforestry Network launches the policy brief Agroforestry and youth – possibilities and barriers, showcasing the role of agroforestry for young farmers’ livelihoods in sub-Saharan African countries. The brief outlines concrete recommendations for policymakers on how to use agroforestry in an inclusive manner to create new opportunities for youth in food systems.
